Holy Cow
Strasburg Rail Road’s Philadelphia and Reading Coach No. 92, built in 1910 by Harlan & Hollingsworth, passes behind a cow enjoying the sun’s warmth at the end of the day.
The Strasburg Rail Road is the oldest continuously operating standard-gauge railroad in the western hemisphere, as well as the oldest public utility in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Chartered in 1832, the Strasburg Rail Road Company is a heritage railroad offering excursion trains hauled by steam locomotives as well as providing contract railroad mechanical services, and freight service to area shippers.
