Don’t worry, I’ve always got your back...They were part of a herd of Angora goats that spent their summers at elevations of 5,700’ – 5,800’ on the Roan Highlands near the Appalachian Trail which runs along the Tennessee / North Carolina border. ..The Goats of Roan series began with the Baa-tany Goat Project. The goats spent summers alongside the Appalachian Trail on the border of Tennessee and North Carolina, grazing on the balds of the Roan Mountain Highlands. The rest of the year they spent on their farm in beautiful Shady Valley, Tennessee. ..
