This is the view inside the 18-stall Age of Steam Roundhouse in Sugarcreek, Ohio.
Closet to the camera is No. 1293. She was built in 1948 by the Canadian Locomotive Company in Kingston, Ontario. The G-5 class of the 4-6-2 Pacific-type steam locomotives were constructed after World War II to pull passenger and freight trains on the Canadian Pacific Railway and were equipped with the latest improvements, innovations and appliances then available.
No. 1551 was constructed in 1912 by the Montreal Locomotive Works and rolled out of the shop as Canadian Northern Railway No.1354 but was renumber to No. 1551 in 1956 and ran in Barrie, Ontario until retiring in 1958.
